Magic's Erik McCree: Leads all scorers against the Spurs
McCree posted 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), a rebound, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot across 21 minutes during Friday's 75-59 win over the Spurs in the Las Vegas Summer League (game halted due to earthquake).
After limited action with the Jazz last season, McCree made a nice showing with the Magic on Friday. The former Louisiana Tech forward was out of basketball in 2018 and is trying to find a G-League home with Orlando. It's highly unlikely that he'll see prime-time action this season.

Jazz's Erik McCree: Out for personal reasons Tuesday
McCree won't play during Tuesday's summer league contest against the Grizzlies for personal reasons.
McCree barely touched the floor during Utah's first summer league tilt against the Spurs, playing two minutes. Now, his next opportunity to see run arrives Thursday against the Hawks.

Jazz's Erik McCree: Lacing up for summer league
McCree will join the Jazz for summer league, Matt Petersen of NBA.com reports.
McCree played just eight minutes at the NBA level for the Jazz last season, spending the vast majority of the campaign in the G-League. Across 35 G-League games, he averaged 17.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 32.3 minutes. The 24-year-old also shot well from distance, nailing 2.0 threes per tilt at a 38.4 percent clip.

Jazz's Erik McCree: Continues hot streak
McCree tallied 26 points (9-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three assists, two rebounds and one steal during Tuesday's win over Santa Cruz.
The former Louisiana Tech forward continued his hot streak of scoring in double-figures to eight games and 17 of his last 18 overall. McCree has been one of the Stars' most consistent scorers all season long, as his average of 17.8 points per game shows.

Jazz's Erik McCree: Signs two-way deal with Jazz
McCree agreed to a two-way contract with the Jazz on Thursday.
To make room for McCree's signing, the Jazz waived Eric Griffin. McCree most recently played for the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the G-League, averaging 16.2 points and 5.2 boards across 29.0 minutes per game. As is the nature of two-way deals, he'll spend the majority of the season in the G-League, now playing for the Salt Lake City Stars. But, he can spend up to 45 days at the NBA level.
