Clarkson and the Jazz are set to finalize a three-year, $55 million contract renegotiation and extension Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Just a few days earlier, Clarkson exercised his $14.26 million player option for 2023-24, doing so presumably as a placeholder until he and the Jazz were able to come to terms on a longer-term deal. The two sides didn't take long to work out the parameters of a contract, with Clarkson's extension now locking him in with Utah through the 2025-26 campaign. The 31-year-old guard is coming off a stellar 2022-23 season in which he was a full-time starter for the first time since 2015-16, his second year in the league with the Lakers. In 61 appearances, Clarkson averaged a career-high 20.8 points while chipping in 4.4 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 three-pointers in 32.6 minutes per contest.... See More ... See Less

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Not facing Lakers
Clarkson (finger) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Lakers. Clarkson was one of Utah's best players when healthy this season, but he'll end the year missing a 17th straight game due to a left finger sprain. The veteran guard ends the 2022-23 season averaging a career-best 20.8 points per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the field and 33.8 percent from three-point range.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Still out Saturday
Clarkson (finger) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Nuggets, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reprots. Clarkson is slated to miss a 16th straight game and will presumably remain sidelined for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Lakers as well. Over 61 appearances, Clarkson is averaging a career-high 20.8 points with 44/33/81 shooting splits.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Remains sidelined
Clarkson (finger) will sit out Thursday's game against the Thunder. Clarkson will miss a 15th consecutive contest with a sprained finger on his left hand. Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Downgraded to out
Clarkson (finger) will not play in Saturday's game against the Celtics. Clarkson will miss a fifth straight contest with a sprained finger despite logging a full practice Friday and initially being tabbed questionable. His absence will allow more opportunities for Ochai Agbaji, Johnny Juzang and Kris Dunn on Saturday. Clarkson's next chance to play will come Monday against the Kings.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Questionable vs. Celtics
Clarkson (finger) is questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Celtics, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. A sprained finger has kept Clarkson out for four straight games, but he was a full participant in Friday's practice, indicating he has a good chance to return Saturday. If he's back in the lineup, fewer minutes will presumably be available for Ochai Agbaji, Johnny Juzang and Kris Dunn.... See More ... See Less -
