Nets' Julius Randle: Scores 24 points Tuesday
Randle registered 24 points (10-23 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and two steals across 44 minutes in Tuesday's 125-124 overtime loss to the Celtics.
Randle narrowly missed a double-double while playing a season-high 44 minutes, reinforcing his prominent role in Brooklyn's offense. However, his seven missed three-point attempts and five turnovers diminished an otherwise productive fantasy performance. Randle's high shot volume and rebounding provide a reliable foundation, and although his efficiency could fluctuate given his heavy offensive responsibilities, that won't matter much as long as he keeps producing as he has so far. He's scored at least 23 points in three of his first four appearances this season.

Nets' Julius Randle: Puts up 23 points in loss
Randle delivered 23 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six rebounds and five assists across 35 minutes in Saturday's 125-121 loss to the Cavaliers.
Randle followed his 33-point performance in the season opener with a more balanced offensive performance this time around, reducing his shot attempts while contributing as a facilitator. His scoring output could fluctuate depending on how the Nets distribute opportunities between him and Michael Porter, as well as on the likes of Egor Demin and Mikel Brown (rest) stepping up from time to time. But Randle should be one of the Nets' go-to offensive options every time he steps on the hardwood, which should give him enough of a floor to be a reliable contributor in most contests.

Nets' Julius Randle: Nets 33 points with full line
Randle racked up 33 points (11-18 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 8-11 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and one block over 38 minutes in Wednesday's 110-103 season-opening loss ot the Hornets.
It was the Randle and Michael Porter show on offense for Brooklyn, with the pair accounting for 59 of the Nets' 103 total points. Randle will be the primary creator on offense this season, so he's set up for a big year.

Nets' Julius Randle: Shines as playmaker
Randle recorded 14 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, nine assists and a steal across 23 minutes in Monday's 131-122 preseason win over the Wizards.
Randle made his biggest impact as a facilitator, leading Brooklyn with nine assists while taking just eight field-goal attempts. His three turnovers were a minor blemish, but this overall performance showed he can contribute without dominating the offense. Randle's passing production was particularly encouraging for fantasy managers, as he demonstrated the potential to generate substantial assists from the frontcourt, and if he's able to carry this playmaking into the regular season, players such as Michael Porter, Day'Ron Sharpe and others could benefit from Randle's passing as a point forward.

Nets' Julius Randle: Plays well in debut
Randle finished with 13 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal across 18 minutes in Tuesday's 124-90 preseason win over the Hornets.
Randle finished behind Michael Porter in scoring to lead the Nets to the win to begin the preseason. The 31-year-old, who was acquired by Brooklyn during the offseason, appeared in 79 regular-season games for Minnesota during the 2025-26 campaign. He played well, averaging 21.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.1 steals over 33.0 minutes per contest. Randle will have an opportunity to increase his statistical contributions in 2026-27, considering the Nets' roster is loaded with young, developing players.

Nets' Julius Randle: To make debut Tuesday
Randle is expected to make his Nets debut in Tuesday's preseason opener against the Hornets, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.
Randle has been a full participant throughout training camp and will get his first opportunity to play alongside his new teammates Tuesday. Coach Jordi Fernandez has experimented with using Randle in several ways offensively, including as a ball handler, in dribble handoffs and as a playmaker out of the short roll.

Nets' Julius Randle: Eyes bigger role in Brooklyn
Randle said he's looking forward to playing alongside Michael Porter after Brooklyn acquired him this offseason, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports.
After acting as the top-scoring option for most of his Knicks tenure, Randle's usage took an expected dip over his last two years in Minnesota. He lost plenty of playmaking duties to Anthony Edwards with the Timberwolves, but Randle is now in line for a considerable bump in ball-handling responsibilities with the rebuilding Nets. The veteran forward figures to be a focal point of the offense alongside Porter in 2026-27, which should offer Randle plenty of upside in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts this fall.
