Richard Solomon: Sidelined Tuesday
Solomon (knee) did not play in Tuesday's win over the Legends.
Solomon, who is averaging 26.4 minutes in 35 games with the Blue this season, played just 19 minutes Wednesday which would seem to indicate he may have suffered the injury in the aforementioned contest against Stockton. Essentially the team's starting center, Kevin Hervey was forced to soak up additional minutes and will likely continue to get the starts so long as Solomon is sidelined.

Richard Solomon: Not retained by OKC
The Thunder elected not to re-sign Solomon after his 10-day contract expired Sunday, RealGM.com reports.
Oklahoma City likely felt little need to keep Solomon around after the team signed Markieff Morris over the All-Star break and inserted him into the rotation for the team's back-to-back during the weekend. Solomon never saw any run for the Thunder during his brief time with the team and is still awaiting his NBA debut. Expect Solomon to report back to the Thunder's G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue.

Thunder's Richard Solomon: Joining Oklahoma City
Solomon will sign a 10-day contract with the Thunder, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Solomon has spent all of the 2018-19 campaign with the Oklahoma City Blue of the G League, and he will now get a shot at the big leagues. The Thunder have just one game before the All-Star break, however, so his only opportunity to play under this contract will be Thursday in New Orleans.

Solomon was unable to travel with the Friday to Austin, but managed to make his return Sunday against the Lakers. Early foul trouble eventually forced Solomon to play just 13 minutes Sunday, but it seems likely the center will be poised for his usual 28-34 minutes of work following the G League break, which takes place February 14-19.

Richard Solomon: Cut loose by Oklahoma City
Solomon was waived by the Thunder on Wednesday, Erik Horne of The Oklahoman reports.
Solomon missed some time in the preseason with a left knee sprain, but even if health had prevailed, he had little chance of cracking the Thunder's season-opening roster. The Thunder could still view the big man as a candidate for its G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue.

Thunder's Richard Solomon: Joins Thunder on Exhibit 10 deal
Solomon will sign an Exhibit 10 deal with the Thunder, Keith Smith of RealGM reports.
Since going undrafted out of California back in 2014, Solomon has bounced around and played for a handful of teams overseas, as well as a stint in the G-League. Most recently, Solomon took part in 19 games with Usak Sportlif of the Turkish BSL, where he averaged 9.9 points and 4.8 rebounds across 18.4 minutes. He returned to the United States to play for the Hawks' summer league team this past July and while Atlanta didn't end up offering him, the Thunder will give Solomon a shot to compete in training camp. Considering it's an Exhibit 10 deal, the Thunder will have the ability to convert Solomon to a two-way deal for the upcoming campaign if he impresses in camp.

Richard Solomon: Waived by Atlanta
Solomon was waived by the Hawks on Saturday, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Solomon wasn't on a guaranteed contract during camp, so he was always viewed as a long shot to make the roster. With injuries to Dennis Schroder (ankle) and Jarrett Jack (knee) hampering the Hawks' depth in the backcourt, Solomon's spot in training camp was deemed expendable. Look for the Hawks to replace him with another guard.
