Trail Blazers' Justise Winslow: Out at least two weeks
The Trail Blazers announced Monday that Winslow will be re-evaluated in two weeks while he recovers from a Grade 2 left ankle sprain.
Winslow had already missed Portland's most recent game Friday in Denver after suffering the injury in the third quarter of a 101-98 loss to the Thunder on Wednesday. Even if he's cleared to resume on-court work after the two-week re-evaluation period, Winslow will almost certainly require some additional ramp-up time in practice, so his absence is likely to extend into the back half of January. Keon Johnson and Trendon Watford profile as the biggest beneficiaries from a playing-time standpoint while Winslow is sidelined.
