  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Deal becomes guaranteed

Krejci's contract became guaranteed Saturday evening, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Krejci and teammate Tyrese Martin both made it past the deadline, making their contracts guaranteed for the 2022-23 campaign. While Krejci has earned a contract the rest of the way, he's still lightly being used in the rotation, logging no more than four minutes in a game since Dec. 12.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Strong production in debut

Krejci recorded 11 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists and one block in 32 minutes during Saturday's 124-96 win over Lakeland. Krejci provided all-around production during his first appearance in the G League this year. Last season, he made 14 appearances for the Delaware Blue Coats and posted at least 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists just once.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Recalled by Atlanta

Krejci was recalled by the Hawks on Friday, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Krejci was assigned to the G League's College Park Skyhawks on Thursday but will rejoin the parent club a day later. He's averaged just 1.6 points in 6.6 minutes per game over 16 appearances with Atlanta this year.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Sent to G League

The Hawks assigned Krejci to G League College Park on Thursday. Krejci hasn't seen more than four minutes of action in a game since Dec. 12, prompting the team to send him to the G League, likely to get him some additional work. It may be a brief stay for him with the Skyhawks.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Good to go Tuesday

Krejci (ankle) is available to play in Tuesday's game versus the Pacers. Krejci has been upgraded from questionable to available Tuesday with a left ankle sprain. However, the second-year guard has played only three minutes in each of his last two appearances.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Dealing with ankle sprain

Krejci is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Pacers due to a left ankle sprain. The extent of Krejci's sprain is unclear, but his absence shouldn't have a major impact on Atlanta's rotation. He's appeared in just three of the team's past eight games, totaling 22 minutes in those contests.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Gets on the board

Krejci chipped in five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one rebound over six minutes during Monday's 139-109 loss to the Raptors. With Atlanta getting torched by Toronto, Krejci contributed his first points of the season. The 22-year-old averaged 6.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 30 games as a rookie with Oklahoma City last season, but he won't see that level of usage on a competitive Atlanta squad.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Available to make debut

Krejci will be available to play Thursday against the Bucks in their preseason matchup in Abu Dhabi, Brad Rowland of PeachtreeHoops.com reports. Krejci looks to be fully recovered from a knee procedure he underwent in April. Last season, he averaged 7.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 27.4 minutes across 24 games for the Thunder as a rookie. After being traded to the Hawks, Krejci will attempt to earn his spot in the rotation.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Traded to Atlanta

Krejci (knee) was traded by the Thunder to the Hawks on Tuesday in exchange for Maurice Harkless and a second-round pick, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Krejci underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in April after presumably playing through the issue at the end of last season. After the All-Star break, the guard, drafted in 2020, appeared in 24 straight games for the Thunder and averaged 7.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 27.4 minutes per contest. He's expected to be healthy by the start of the season, but he'll face stiff competition for playing time, especially if he misses a large portion of training camp while rehabbing his knee.

  • Thunder's Vit Krejci: Sees plenty of action

Krejci put up 11 points (5-15 FG, 1-1 FT), eight assists, six rebounds and one block in Sunday's 117-96 victory over Phoenix. Krejci led all players with 37 minutes played and finished with a season-high in assists. With the number of injuries to Oklahoma City's roster, the rookie has been on the court for 145 minutes in the past four games combined. While he hasn't shot the ball well in those games, Krejci has remained active as a playmaker and rebounder.

  • Thunder's Vit Krejci: First career double-double

Krejci posted 12 points (4-6 FG, 4-6 3Pt), 11 rebounds and two assists during Wednesday's 118-102 win over Orlando. This was arguably Krejci's best performance of his career thus far, as he drained four threes and grabbed a career high off the glass to mark his first double-double. His 11 rebounds completely shattered his previous high of just six March 16 against the Spurs. Krejci has now scored in double figures in three contests this year.

  • Thunder's Vit Krejci: Plays 29 minutes in blowout

Krejci finished with 10 points (4-12 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 29 minutes in Monday's 131-110 loss to the Kings. Krejci appeared in just five of the Thunder's 53 games prior to the All-Star break, but thanks to several guards/wings being sidelined with injuries, he's been able to pick up steady rotational minutes in each of the team's first three contests to begin the second half of the season. The rookie submitted his best fantasy line to date Monday, and the stat line would have looked even better had he not come up empty from downtown. Krejci is a player to monitor only in deep leagues at this time, and he could fall out of the rotation as soon as at least two of Kenrich Williams (knee), Ty Jerome (hip), Luguentz Dort (shoulder), Josh Giddey (hip) and Aaron Wiggins (ankle) are back in action.

  • Thunder's Vit Krejci: Sees substantial run

Krejci closed Thursday's 124-104 loss to Phoenix with eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal across 21 minutes. Appearing in his seventh NBA game, Krejci logged double-digit minutes for the first time -- receiving a healthy role off the bench. Even amid a blowout defeat, the playing time is a crucial step in the 21-year-old rookie settling into the rotation. He's a developmental project on a Thunder roster crowded with them.

  • Thunder's Vit Krejci: Gets light run Monday

Krejci finished with one rebound, one turnover and one foul across five minutes Monday in the Thunder's 127-123 overtime win over the Knicks. Krejci has now made two appearances for the NBA team since he was cleared to return earlier this month following an extended absence due to a severe ankle sprain. The rookie could stick with the Thunder through the All-Star break to provide depth out of the backcourt, but he's unlikely to see meaningful playing time.

  • Thunder's Vit Krejci: Recalled from G League

Krejci (ankle) was recalled by the Thunder from the G League on Wednesday, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports. Krejci has been sidelined by an ankle sprain but saw G League action with the Oklahoma City Blue earlier Wednesday. He's appeared in only three NBA games this season and is unlikely to see much action for the Thunder, but it appears he's recovered from the injury.

  • Thunder's Vit Krejci: Assigned to G League

Krejci (ankle) was assigned to the G League's Oklahoma City Blue on Sunday, Rylan Stiles of BricktownBuckets.com reports. Krejci hasn't suited up for the Thunder or the Blue since Dec. 22, so this appears to be simply an administrative move, though it could imply the start of a more rigorous rehab plan. Either way, it remains unclear when the second-year pro may be ready for a potential return to game action.

  • Thunder's Vit Krejci: Not close to return

Coach Mark Daigneault said Wednesday that Krejci (ankle) isn't expected to return until late February, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports. Kreji has been sidelined by the severe ankle sprain since Dec. 22, and it appears he'll be unavailable for at least another month. He's appeared in only three games for the Thunder this season.

  • Thunder's Vit Krejci: Recalled to parent club

The Thunder recalled Krejci (ankle) from the G League's Oklahoma City Blue on Sunday, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports. Mussatto reports that this is simply an administrative move, as Krejci won't be traveling with the team and still has a ways to go in his recovery from a severe ankle sprain. He hasn't suited up for either the Thunder or the Blue since Dec. 22.

  • Thunder's Vit Krejci: Not available Sunday

Krejci (ankle) remains on assignment with the G League's Oklahoma City Blue and isn't available Sunday for the Thunder's game against the Mavericks, Rylan Stiles of BricktownBuckets.com reports. Krejci hasn't played for either the Blue or the Thunder since suffering an ankle injury for the former club in a Dec. 22 game. The extent of his injury isn't known, but he won't be a regular factor in the NBA rotation even once he's healthy again.

Krejci played seven minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Delaware Blue Coats before going down with an ankle injury, according to Ben Creider of Sports Illustrated. The severity of Krejci's injury is unknown as of yet and there is no timetable for his return. He is averaging 6.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game with the Blue, and has made three appearances for the Thunder this season.
