Porter closed Monday's 113-111 victory over the Lakers in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals with 15 points (5-16 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one block in 41 minutes. Porter finished as one of two Nuggets players with 10 or more rebounds while posting a double-double performance for the second straight game and for the third time in the Western Conference Finals. Porter has finished with at least 15 points and 10 boards in four playoff games.... See More ... See Less

Nuggets' Michael Porter: Career-high six assists in win
Porter ended Saturday's 119-108 victory over the Lakers in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals with 14 points (4-11 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists and one steal in 38 minutes. Porter shot just 4-of-11 from the floor but added double-digit boards and a career-high six assists, helping the Nuggets to an impressive road victory. While his numbers don't jump off the page on most nights, his on-court play has certainly gone to another level. Denver is now just one win away from advancing to its first NBA Finals. Game 4 will be in Los Angeles on Monday, providing the Nuggets with an opportunity to sweep the Lakers.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Sinks four triples in win
Porter contributed 16 points (5-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and three assists over 31 minutes during Thursday's 108-103 victory over the Lakers in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. After scoring just five points in the first half, Porter was more aggressive in the second half and hit a pair of threes in the fourth quarter to help Denver pull away. The sharpshooter has scored at least 10 points in 11 of his 13 appearances this postseason, averaging 14.6 points and 7.7 rebounds with 47/42/76 shooting splits.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Another double-double in loss
Porter registered 11 points (4-13 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 41 minutes during Sunday's 129-124 loss to the Suns in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Porter earned his third double-double of the playoffs in the loss, following up his Game 3 totals with another respectable performance. Based on Aaron Gordon's recent numbers, there's a noticeable correlation between the two, and Porter tends to succeed when his teammate falters. Against the Suns, Porter seems to have the upper hand when looking for value among Denver's supporting cast.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Drops six triples in Game 3 loss
Porter logged 21 points (7-14 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 12 rebounds and one block across 37 minutes during Friday's 121-114 loss to Phoenix in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Porter went 6-of-10 from the perimeter, compiling 21 points in what was ultimately a losing effort, his second 20-point outing of this season's playoffs. He added 12 boards, although his lack of peripheral production was an issue once again. Now ahead 2-1 in the series, the Nuggets should still be confident heading into Game 4, assuming they can slow down Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Struggles with shot in victory
Porter posted eight points (3-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt), 10 rebounds and two steals over 39 minutes during Tuesday's 112-109 win over the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Porter and Nikola Jokic posted dreadful shooting nights in Game 5, leaving Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon and Bruce Brown to pick up the slack. Porter's eight points marked one of his lowest totals of the season and his lowest result in the playoffs. Aside from Game 5, Porter's quarterfinal results were mostly encouraging, and the youngster seemed to rise to the occasion and take a role as one of Denver's top producers. The Nuggets will need all the help they can get against the Suns, and Porter will face a tough test opposite Kevin Durant.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Scores 16 points with seven shots
Porter contributed 16 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds and one steal over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 122-113 victory over the Timberwolves in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Porter showed he doesn't have to be overly involved on offense to make an impact, and he made his presence felt on both ends of the court despite attempting just seven shots through 29 minutes. Porter is also riding a streak of 14 straight double-digit scoring appearances dating back to the regular season.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Sneaky double-double Sunday
Porter finished Sunday's 109-80 victory over the Timberwolves in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals with 18 points (7-17 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 31 minutes. Porter recorded a rare double-double in the win, taking advantage of the fact Nikola Jokic was in foul trouble. The ease of victory meant the Nuggets were able to limit their main guys, a blessing in disguise given their impending schedule. Porter will need to continue being aggressive on the offensive end should the Nuggets hope to climb to the top of the mountain this season.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Available for Sunday
Porter (heel) will be active for Sunday's game against Minnesota, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports. Porter dealt with a heel injury in the final stages of the regular season and missed three of the team's last six games, but he is ready to go after a whole week of rest following the end of the regular-season campaign. He should resume his regular starting spot in the lineup, a role in which he averaged 17.4 points with 5.5 boards per game across 62 outings during the regular season.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Not playing in season finale
Porter (heel) won't play Sunday against the Kings. As expected, the Nuggets will rest their starting unit for the season finale. He appeared in 62 games for Denver (all starts) and averaged a career-high 17.4 points per game while adding 5.5 rebounds per contest. As it's the case with the rest of the first unit, Porter should be ready to go for the start of the playoffs.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Officially listed as questionable
Porter (heel) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Kings. Porter is one seven players listed as questionable, so it's currently unclear who'll be available for the regular-season finale. However, even if Porter is sidelined, there's been no indication that his current heel issue will impact his availability during postseason action.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Limited to 20 minutes in loss
Porter ended with 15 points (6-14 FG, 3-9 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists over 20 minutes during Saturday's 118-114 loss to the Jazz. Porter logged just 20 minutes in the loss, returning from a one-game absence due to a heel issue. The Nuggets opted to limit all of their starters, although Porter was the player most impacted by that decision. While it has been a relatively successful season for Porter, his lack of peripheral production remains a concern and is something that will once again limit his overall fantasy appeal heading into the 2023-24 season.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Officially active
Porter (heel) will play in Saturday's game against the Jazz. Porter was upgraded to probable for the contest earlier Saturday and will be able to play. However, it's likely Porter and the rest of the starters will be limited to just one half of action, so fantasy managers should look elsewhere, especially in daily formats.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Should play Saturday
Porter (heel) is expected to play in Saturday's game against Utah, Mike Singer of The Denver Post reports. Coach Mike Malone said he expects all five starters to play in Saturday's game. However, with the No. 1 seed already clinched, it's unlikely that Porter will play the entire game.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Questionable for Saturday
Porter (heel) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game in Utah. Porter got the night off Thursday to manage his heel issue. The Nuggets play back-to-back games Saturday and Sunday to finish out the season, so the small forward is likely to see action in only one of those contests. More clarity on his status will come closer to game time.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Sidelined Thursday
Porter (heel) will not play in Thursday's matchup with the Suns. Porter will get the night off Thursday and will join the other four Nuggets starters in street clothes. Bruce Brown, Peyton Watson, Christian Braun and Vlatko Cancar should all receive increased roles. Porter's next chance to suit up will come Saturday against Utah.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Status uncertain against Phoenix
Porter is questionable for Thursday's game versus the Suns due to left heel injury management. With the Nuggets practically having the one-seed in the Western Conference locked up, it wouldn't be surprising for Porter to sit one or more of Denver's remaining three contests. If he's ruled out Thursday, Bruce Brown, Peyton Watson and Jeff Green would be candidates for extended minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Records big double-double in win
Porter posted 29 points (10-17 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT) and 11 rebounds in 34 minutes during Sunday's 112-110 victory over Golden State. The scoring and rebound totals were both his third-highest totals of the season. Thanks to excellent play from Porter and Jamal Murray, the Nuggets managed to pick up a win after taking losses in the first of two games that MVP candidate Nikola Jokic (calf) has been sidelined. With a three-game lead over the Grizzlies for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, the Nuggets enough breathing room to give Jokic more time to heal if he needs it. If that's the case, Porter could be in store for additional responsibility on offense during the Nuggets' four-game week to close out the regular season.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Will play, as expected
Porter (heel) will be available for Sunday's game against Golden State. As expected, Porter will take the court after sitting out Friday's loss to the Suns for injury management purposes. With Nikola Jokic (calf) set to miss a third straight game, Porter should be looking at an elevated role, offensively, alongside Jamal Murray. Over his last nine games, Porter has averaged 18.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 3.2 made threes.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Likely to play Sunday
Porter (heel) is probable for Sunday's game versus the Warriors. Porter is expected to suit up Sunday after missing the previous game with a left heel injury. He will likely replace Bruce Brown in the starting lineup against Golden State.... See More ... See Less
