Knicks' RJ Barrett: Disappointing end to season
Barrett posted 11 points (1-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 9-10 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 32 minutes during Friday's 96-92 loss to the Heat in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Barrett went just 1-of-10 from the floor, digging a hole for the Knicks, who were bundled out of the playoffs. It is certainly not the end the fans were hoping for, and looking ahead, Barrett's long-term role has to be re-visited. To this point in his career, he has shown no upside on the defensive end, while his scoring typically fluctuates from one game to the next. Should the Knicks hope to continue on their current trajectory, they may need a more reliable scoring threat than Barrett.

Knicks' RJ Barrett: Another 20-point outing in victory
Barrett chipped in 26 points (8-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one block over 38 minutes during Wednesday's 112-103 victory over Miami in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Barrett finished second on the team in scoring while falling three rebounds shy of a double-double in Wednesday's Game 5 win-or-go-home contest against Miami. Barrett has posted at least 20 points in four of five games in the second-round series.

Knicks' RJ Barrett: Strong from deep to boost offense
Barrett closed Monday's 109-101 loss to the Heat in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with 24 points (9-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 35 minutes.
Barrett was a spark from deep for New York in Monday's Game 4 loss, connecting on a team-high-tying mark from three while finishing as one of three Knicks with 20 or more points. Barrett has surpassed the 20-point mark in three of the four games this series.

Knicks' RJ Barrett: Scores game-high 26 points
Barrett registered 26 points (10-20 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-8 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 40 minutes during Sunday's 108-101 loss to the Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Barrett cobbled together a nice performance Sunday, not only leading all scorers with 26 points but also adding significant peripheral production. With Julius Randle (ankle) sidelined, Barrett took on more responsibility, although his efficiency from the stripe left a lot to be desired. Should Randle be unavailable for Game 2, Barrett would once again be forced to shoulder more of the scoring load.

Knicks' RJ Barrett: Another efficient outing
Barrett provided 21 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 106-95 win over the Cavaliers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
Barrett continued his efficient play by scoring 21 points on 53.8 percent shooting. The point total lands the guard second on the Knicks in scoring, only trailing teammate Jalen Brunson (23 points). Not only is Barrett starting to score in bunches, but he has also shot better than 50 percent in each outing. The Knicks will hope that the 22-year-old guard can continue his efficient shooting and provide a much-needed offensive boost as they advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Knicks' RJ Barrett: Strong at the line in 26-point game
Barrett supplied 26 points (9-18 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 8-13 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one block in 37 minutes during Sunday's 102-93 win over the Cavaliers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
Barrett connected on a team-high mark from the free throw line en route to finishing second on the Knicks in scoring while ending Game 4 as one of two players with 25 or more points. Barrett surpassed the 20-point mark for the first time this postseason, having scored at least 15 points in two straight outings.

Knicks' RJ Barrett: Efficient from field Friday
Barrett finished with 19 points (8-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Friday's 99-79 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
Barrett delivered a strong performance in Game 3, missing just four of his 12 shots and ending just two boards away from recording a double-double as the Knicks raced to a 20-point win at home. The former Duke star bounced back from two subpar showings in the first two games of the series and will continue to be counted on if the Knicks are to move on in the postseason.

Knicks' RJ Barrett: Rough shooting in loss
Barrett contributed 14 points (4-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds and one steal across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 107-90 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
Barrett was woeful from the floor, something that is becoming all too common. At this point in his career, the Knicks would love to see signs of improvement when it comes to his efficiency. Sadly, this has not been the case. If they are to push the Cavaliers in the series, Barrett will likely need to do more than just fire up ill-advised shots.
