Murphy didn't play Sunday against the Skyforce due to a wrist injury.
It remains to be seen if the injury is serious, but it wouldn't be shocking if the Spurs sit Murphy for the rest of the season. After all, there's only a few weeks left in the schedule and the team is already out of the playoff race.

Jordan Murphy: Goes for 24 points Saturday
Murphy notched 24 points (10-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, a steal and two blocks across 29 minutes in Saturday's win over the Hustle.
Murphy was efficient on offense and active on the glass, ending just two rebounds away from recording what would've been his third double-double of the campaign. He has scored at least 14 points in six of his last eight outings.

Jordan Murphy: Puts up double-double
Murphy had 19 points (7-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-7 FT), 11 rebounds, an assist, a steal and two blocks across 32 minutes in Friday's win over the Ignite.
Murphy was efficient from the field and showed energy on the glass, so it wasn't surprising to see him ending up with a double-double. This was the second time he reached that feat, but he's still putting up solid averages of 9.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game while starting in just one of his 14 outings.

Murphy delivered 15 points (4-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds and two blocks across 18 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Ignite.
Murphy left his mark coming off the bench and was active defensively as well, ending just one rebound shy of a double-double and racking up multiple blocks for the second time in his last three contests. However, the shooting woes were real, and he ended up with more field-goal attempts than points scored.

Austin scored 46 points off the bench as a team and Murphy led the way with a 17-point output. He's yet to start a game for the G League Spurs, but he has scored in double digits in three of his last five games and is trending in the right direction. He's averaging 8.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest.

Murphy delivered his best outing of the season thus far, posting regular-season best marks in both points and rebounds while also reaching the 20-minute mark for the first time in four contests. That said, he's not expected to be this impactful going forward, and he should remain on a bench role for Austin.

Murphy led the bench in scoring for Austin in this game, and he ended up as the team's fifth-best scorer overall. Even if he doesn't start regularly, Murphy should remain a steady contributor on a game-to-game basis for the Spurs' G League affiliate.

Murphy ends the Showcase Cup in a good stretch of form, as he scored in double digits in four of his last six outings, a span in which he also recorded a season-high 26 points in a win over Capitanes on Dec. 11. Murphy averaged 11.7 points across 14 appearances in the 2022 Showcase Cup.

Murphy posted 26 points (11-16 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 16 rebounds, five assists and a steal across 29 minutes in Sunday's win over Capitanes.
Murphy hadn't been playing very well of late, but he broke out here since this game was his best game of the season by a wide margin. Murphy had cleared the 15-point mark just once in his previous 10 outings, but that's a more accurate reflection of his quality and the impact he has for Austin. After all, he's only averaging 11.3 points per game despite having three contests in which he scored 18 or more points during the Showcase Cup.

Murphy has had some up-and-down performances this season. Still, he seems to be trending in the right direction after putting up double-digit scoring numbers in four of his last six contests despite coming off the bench regularly. He's averaging 11.1 points per contest.

He's been productive off the bench in recent weeks and is averaging 8.7 points with 8.0 rebounds per game on the campaign.

Murphy might have struggled from a scoring perspective, but he was solid the rest of the way and made his presence felt on defense. He's only averaging 4.2 points across 16.8 minutes per game in 14 appearances, however, and those numbers certainly make him a low-end fantasy alternative across all formats.
