When the first round of the NFL Draft kicked off on Thursday, most people watching at home probably figured that if any team was going to pull off a trade that made no sense at all, it would be the Cleveland Browns.

Shockingly, that didn't happen. Instead, it was Bears fans who were left scratching their head after the first round, and that's because their team ended up on the baffling side of one of the most lopsided trades in recent draft history.

The Bears went into the draft with the third overall pick, but decided they wanted to move up to the second spot so they could take North Carolina quarterback Mitch Trubisky. That's not a horrible idea as long as you don't get fleeced in the trade, but the Bears got fleeced.

To move up just one spot, the Bears gave the 49ers the No. 3 overall pick, a third-round pick (67th overall) and a fourth-round pick (111th overall) in the 2017 draft plus a third-round pick in the 2018 draft.

If you're scoring at home, that's four picks to San Francisco and in return, the Bears got to move up all of one spot in the draft. Half the reason that it was a baffling move is because the Bears just gave a huge contract to Mike Glennon. Back in March, Glennon signed a three-year, $45 million contract that included $18.5 million in guaranteed money.

Bears fans were baffled. Here was their immediate reaction after the trade and the pick were announced on live television.

It wasn't pretty.

Those guys are probably going to burn their season tickets.

That's only one group of fans though, I bet there are actually some Bears fans out there who approved of the trade. Let's check.

OK, that looks like a nope. I don't think either of those guys liked the trade.

Also, that guy's tweet bout possibly getting sick isn't as funny when you realize that someone actually got sick.

To be fair, that was probably half tamales making him sick and half the trade.

Anyway, the guy below doesn't even follow the draft and even he thinks the Bears made a bad move.

Also, I don't think the lady below liked the deal, either.

That's a fantastic question.

When Lions fans are thanking you, it probably wasn't a good trade.

The fan below just wants to see Ryan Pace fired.

That's a reasonable request to make after only one night of the draft, right?

You know what, forget Pace, fire everyone.

I could see the insult below stinging for awhile.

This next fan, I actually feel sorry for him.

Finally, you knew it was coming: The ultmate insult.

Ouch.

To be clear, fans in Chicago don't necessarily hate Trubisky, they just hate what the Bears gave up to get him.

Of course, if Trubisky ends up being a Hall of Fame caliber quarterback, then Pace is going to look like a genius. On the other hand, Trubisky is a flop, Pace is going to go down in Bears history as the general manager who ruined the franchise because he decided to draft a Packers fan to be the team's quarterback.
