LOOK: Five cats who really, really want to be NFL stars
Here are some cats who wish they could be NFL players.

It's not often we get to write about cats here at Eye on Football, which is too bad, because everyone loves cats.
Thanks to Rob Gronkowski though, we finally have a reason to write about cats.
What did Gronk do? He posed with some cats for an ESPN the magazine cover, which gave us the perfect excuse to have a 'Cat Week' here.
It's like 'Shark Week,' except with cats and it's not actually an entire week, it's just going to be this story that you're reading and this other story that you can read here about Bill Belichick showing Gronk's photos to the entire team.
Anyway, cats love football and we know that because they're always wearing football jerseys.

What most people don't know about cats though is that they also like to emulate their favorite NFL players.
Take this cat for instance. When her favorite player Johnny Manziel went down, she decided she had to also.

Then there's this cat, who decided that the Eagles need more than Mark Sanchez's prayers if they're ever going to win a playoff game with him.

Cats don't only want to be like quarterbacks though. Some of them, like the cat below, want to be like linebackers.

If that cat needs a teammate, he could probably sign up Ha Ha Kitten-Dix.

Finally, we need someone to coach all of these cats. Lucky for us, there seems to be a perfect cat for the job.
