Apparently, Jared Goff's first official practice as the Rams' starting quarterback was the social event of the year in Los Angeles, and we know that because Britney Spears decided to show up, which we can probably go ahead and file under things that never happened while the Rams were in St. Louis.

The pop star, who must not be a Case Keenum fan, was at the team's facility on Tuesday to watch the first practice the Rams held after Goff was named the starter. Rams coach Jeff Fisher announced on Tuesday morning that the Rams would be moving Goff to the top of the QB depth chart and making Keenum the backup quarterback in Los Angeles.

As you can see below, Britney was clearly thrilled to be there for the changing of the guard.

If you're wondering why Britney decided to show up at a Rams' practice, it appears that her two sons are huge football fans. As a matter of fact, the trio attended the Rams-Panthers game in L.A. back in Week 9.

The boys loved watching the Rams and Panthers play yesterday!

Britney is a huge Saints fan, but you have to think that it's only a matter of time before her kids convince her to dump the Saints and start cheering for the Rams.

Anyway, the Rams did their best to make Britney forget about the Saints this week. First, wide receiver Kenny Britt made sure to take a picture with her two sons.

The boys with @kennybritt18! Vote for him for Pro Bowl!! ☺️

After that, one of Britney's sons nailed a field goal.

His shoe came off lol... Such a great day!! 🏈

He could probably play for the Vikings with that leg.

If Goff wins his first start this week, don't be surprised if he invites Spears to every practice for the rest of the season.
