The Redskins have begun whittling their roster in advance of free agency, and on Tuesday waived running backs Jawan Jamison and David Meggett and, in the team's words, "terminated the following vested veterans:" Defensive end Adam Carriker, tight end Richard Quinn and punter Sav Rocca.
That phrasing led to this, courtesy of Twitter:
It's Dan Snyder. He's the Terminator. RT @ByChrisJenkins: Hopefully just their contracts. RT Redskins have terminated Carriker and Rocca.

Carriker was the biggest name of the bunch. He re-signed with the team in March 2012 after registering a career-high 5.5 sacks in 2011. But injuries during the past two seasons -- and his $6.5 million cap number in 2014 -- made him expendable.
