    Humphries (back) participated in practice Wednesday at OTAs, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports. Humphries, who ended 2022 on injured reserve with a back injury he suffered in Week 9, had been rehabbing on side fields to start OTAs, but he donned a uniform Wednesday and participated in parts of practice for the first time this offseason. The 2015 first-round pick will presumably reclaim his spot as the Cardinals' starting left tackle to begin 2023.

  • Cardinals' D.J. Humphries: Will be ready for training camp

    Head coach Jonathan Gannon said Monday that Humphries (back) will be ready to go by training camp, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports. The left tackle ended 2022 on injured reserve due to a back injury he suffered Week 9, but it appears he'll be good to go for 2023. Per Drake, Humphries hasn't participated during OTAs but has been rehabbing on side fields.

  • Cardinals' D.J. Humphries: Arizona restructures contract

    The Cardinals restructured Humphries' (back) contract Friday, Howard Balzer of GoPHNX.com reports. Arizona converted $8 million of Humphries' $13.5 million salary for 2023 into a signing bonus, saving the team $5.3 million in cap space. However, the left tackle's cap hit will increase to $22.9 million during the 2024 campaign. Humphries ended the 2022 season on injured reserve due to a back injury he suffered in Week 9, and his status for training camp currently remains unclear.
