Buccaneers' Jerry Ugokwe: Signs with Tampa Bay
Ugokwe signed a contract with the Buccaneers on Wednesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Ugokwe (6-foot-7, 321 pounds) has yet to appear in an NFL game despite spending time in the Colts, Saints and Redskins organizations at different points last season as an undrafted rookie. His signing corresponds with the release of defensive end Channing Ward (knee).

Jerry Ugokwe: Waived by Saints
Ugokwe was waived by the Saints on Friday, Mark Inabinett of AL.com reports.
The Saints took a chance on Ugokwe by claiming him off waivers in early August. Unfortunately, it seems he wasn't impressive enough to make the final roster.

Jerry Ugokwe: Waived by Colts
Ugokwe was waived by the Colts on Wednesday, Mike Chappell of of CBS 4 News Indianapolis reports.
Ugokwe was waived to clear room for the recently-signed Arturo Uzdavinis. It's unclear at the moment as to whether or not another team will look to sign Ugokwe, but given his upside it wouldn't surprise many.

Saints' Jerry Ugokwe: Snagged off waivers
Ugokwe was claimed off waivers by the Saints on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The Saints already have, Khalif Barnes, Zach Strief and 2017 first-round pick Ryan Ramczyk battling for a spot at offensive tackle. Expect Ugokwe to be a backup if he makes the Week 1 roster.
