    The Commanders re-signed Deiter on Friday. Deiter appeared in all 17 of Washington's regular-season games in 2024, drawing two starts. He contributed on special teams during the team's three postseason contests. He'll reprise a depth role at center in the 2025 campaign.

    Deiter signed a contract with the Commanders on Monday. Deiter has spent time with Miami and most recently Houston since he entered the NFL in 2019. The 27-year-old has lined up at guard and center and started 12 games for the Texans last season. He should strengthen the depth of Washington's offensive line in the fall.

Deiter played 15 offensive snaps in the season opener but has been limited to light special teams work ever since as a backup interior lineman.
