It took Barnett until Week 8 against the 49ers to post his first sack of the season, though he boosted his numbers late in the regular season after logging 3.0 sacks across Weeks 16 and 17. Texans' Derek Barnett: Two sacks in victory
Barnett recorded 2.0 sacks in Saturday's 20-16 win over the Chargers.
Barnett was able to get to Justin Herbert twice in the third quarter, sacking the quarterback on back-to-back plays. The defensive lineman has now compiled 3.0 sacks over the last two weeks, and he's up to 5.0 sacks on the season.

Barnett passed his physical Monday, ultimately returning to practice for the first time since the beginning of training camp.
