Toth has not participated in practice since July 24 due to what was reported at the time as a toe injury. His return to practice Tuesday was a welcome one, as the Eagles are dealing with multiple injuries to their offensive line, including left guard Landon Dickerson (leg) and right guard Tyler Steen (ankle). Toth is battling for a depth spot on the offensive line, and participating in practice increases his chances of making the 53-man roster.

The Army product came over to Philadelphia after being let go by Carolina in early December of last year. He spent time with the Eagles from 2020-2021 as well, appearing in 17 games and making one start. Toth is likely fighting for a depth role on the Eagles' offensive line, so this injury could put his chances of making the 53-man roster at risk.

The Eagles opened Toth's 21-day practice window Jan. 5, but he'll remain sidelined for the rest of the 2022 campaign following Wednesday's update. He didn't see any game action this season after undergoing knee surgery last January.
