Tyler Higby: Let go by Vikings
Minnesota waived Higby (illness) on Sunday after he was cleared to return from the reserve/COVID-19 list, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Higby will be eligible to retake the practice field if he manages to earn a chance with another team. The undrafted rookie out of Michigan State could offer upside as a depth option along the interior of an O-line.

Vikings' Tyler Higby: Placed on COVID-19 list
Higby has been placed on the Vikings' Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Higby was one of four Minnesota players placed on the list. His placement there doesn't necessarily indicate that he has COVID-19, with the team's announcement, noting that the list "was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons." Higby signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft.
