  • Vikings' Andre Mintze: Heading to Minnesota

    Mintze signed a contract with the Vikings on Monday. Mintze joins Minnesota after totaling four tackles on 133 combined defensive and special-teams snaps over six games as a rookie for Denver. The 2021 undrafted free agent played in five of the team's first six games, but he then missed about two-and-a-half months while sitting out on the injured reserve and reserve/COVID-19 lists. Mintze was waived by the Broncos in May and he now will look to carve out a depth role with the Vikings this offseason.

  • Broncos' Andre Mintze: Shifted over to IR

    Mintze (hamstring) was moved to injured reserve Tuesday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports. The linebacker left Sunday's contest early versus the Raiders with the injury. He will now miss at least three weeks before he can be activated from the IR and return to action. Mintze has been most utilized this season on special teams, only playing 25 snaps on the defensive unit.

  • Broncos' Andre Mintze: Declared out Sunday

    Mintze (hamstring) has been downgraded to out of Sunday's game against Las Vegas. Denver's special teams are taking a hit, as Mintze joins Baron Browning on the list of players who are now out for the remainder of the game. The Vanderbilt product has a short turnaround with the Broncos' Week 7 matchup coming Thursday night at Cleveland.

    Mintze (concussion) is not dressed for Saturday's preseason game against the Seahawks, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports. Mintze was placed in concussion protocol Monday and has seemingly still not completed the required steps to be cleared. He could be back in action in time for the team's third preseason game against the Rams.
