  • 49ers' Jaylon Moore: Starts preseason finale

    Moore (knee) started Friday's 23-12 preseason loss against the Chargers. Moore sustained a bone bruise and had to be carted off the field during training camp practice Aug. 3. The 2021 fifth-round pick now appears to be healthy heading into the regular season, and he should serve as a backup left tackle behind All-Pro Trent Williams.

  • 49ers' Jaylon Moore: Avoids serious injury

    Moore (knee) suffered a bone bruise during 49ers camp Wednesday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Moore did not practice Thursday after being carted off during Wednesday's session. Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters the news of a bone bruise was welcome considering how much more severe the injury first seemed. The timetable for when the third-year offensive lineman will return is currently unknown.
