Chargers' Ja'Sir Taylor: In line for increased role
Taylor will handle slot corner duties Sunday against the Dolphins, assuming Bryce Callahan (groin) does not play, Lindsey Thiry reports.
Taylor's rookie season has been primarily spent on special teams, with just nine defensive snaps on the season on his stat sheet. Callahan is considered doubtful after being unable to practice Thursday or Friday, and it appears Taylor has earned the opportunity to be the next man up for the Chargers.
