Luani sustained a quadriceps injury during this week's practice, according to Crabtree, and is trending towards a Week 13 absence. The second-year safety has only played three defensive snaps this season, so his lack of availability would be unlikely to notably impact Seattle's secondary.

    The Seahawks waived Luani on Tuesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. Luani was let go to free up a roster spot for wideout Keenan Reynolds, who was activated to provide depth while Doug Baldwin (knee) sits out. The 24-year-old made 18 tackles for the Raiders in 2017.
