Quincy Mauger: Waived by Oakland
Mauger was waived by the Raiders on Friday, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Mauger was cut by the Falcons in June before landing a contract with the Raiders in early August, but the team ultimately left him off its 53-man roster at the culmination of the preseason.

Raiders' Quincy Mauger: Signs with Raiders
Mauger signed a contract Thursday, the Raiders' official site reports.
Mauger has found a new home with the Raiders a couple of months after being handed his walking papers by the Falcons. The second-year pro will look to secure a backup safety role and a spot on the special teams unit for the 2018 campaign.
