Hicks spent last offseason with Green Bay but was cut following the preseason. He'll serve as organizational depth at wideout for the postseason. The 26-year-old has never appeared in a regular-season contest.

Julian Hicks: Dropped by Green Bay
Hicks was waived by the Packers on Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official website reports.
Hicks inked a reserve/future contract with Green Bay in January, reeling in five catches for 31 yards during the team's three preseason contests. The wide receiver will now be placed on waivers, and if he goes unclaimed, it's possible he sticks around with the Packers' practice squad.

Packers' Julian Hicks: Signs futures deal with Packers
Hicks signed a reserve/future contract with Green Bay on Monday.
Hicks signed with the Packers in early May as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Albany. He spent the entire 2024 season on Green Bay's practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. Hicks will have the opportunity to develop his skill set over the offseason and attempt to earn a spot on the active roster for the 2025 campaign.

The Packers signed Hicks to their practice squad Wednesday, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.
Hicks has been brought back by the Packers after failing to make the team's initial 53-man roster Tuesday. He could be elevated to Green Bay's active roster if the team's deep wide receiver room faces injuries at some point this season.

Hicks was waived by the Packers on Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports.
Hicks signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in May and tried to crack a crowded receiver room led by Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks. The wide receiver caught 72 passes for 1,139 yards and 17 touchdowns over his final two college seasons with the University of Albany.

The wide receiver caught 72 passes for 1,139 yards and 17 touchdowns over his final two college seasons with the University of Albany. Hicks also played collegiate ball for Central Michigan and Akron. The rookie joins a deep Green Bay WR depth chart ahead of OTAs.
