The Packers signed Hicks to their practice squad Wednesday, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.
Hicks has been brought back by the Packers after failing to make the team's initial 53-man roster Tuesday. He could be elevated to Green Bay's active roster if the team's deep wide receiver room faces injuries at some point this season.

Hicks was waived by the Packers on Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports.
Hicks signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in May and tried to crack a crowded receiver room led by Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks. The wide receiver caught 72 passes for 1,139 yards and 17 touchdowns over his final two college seasons with the University of Albany.
