Davis (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve by the Packers on Saturday.
Davis attempted to make Green Bay's active roster as a UDFA out of Northern Arizona, but an injury during training camp derailed that goal and sent him to IR. He'll now have the chance to earn an opportunity elsewhere once he is healthy.

Packers' L.J. Davis: Reverts to injured reserve
The Packers reverted Davis (undisclosed) to IR on Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
The nature of Davis' injury hasn't been disclosed, but the issue resulted in Green Bay waiving him with an injury designation Tuesday. The cornerback subsequently cleared waivers and will spend the season on IR unless he can reach an injury designation with the team.
