Haggai Ndubuisi: Reaches injury settlement
The Buccaneers waived Ndubuisi (undisclosed) from the reserve/PUP list Friday with an injury designation, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Ndubuisi was initially set to miss the entire 2026 season after going on the reserve/PUP list. However, the injury settlement means he will have the opportunity to sign with a team for the upcoming campaign once he's fully recovered from his unspecified injury.

Buccaneers' Haggai Ndubuisi: Reverts to IR
Ndubuisi (undisclosed) reverted to the Buccaneers' injured reserve Friday after clearing waivers, per the NFL's transaction log.
Now that he's on the IR, Ndubuisi will be forced to miss the entire 2026 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Buccaneers. He joined the NFL in April of 2022 through the International Player Pathway program and made his pro debut as a member of the Texans in Week 14 of the 2025 campaign against the Chiefs, which is his lone appearance in a regular-season game.

Haggai Ndubuisi: Set to have surgery
Ndubuisi will undergo surgery Monday for a fractured left ring finger, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
Ndubuisi tried to play through the injury but was absent from Friday's workout. The procedure is expected to keep Ndubuisi -- who joined the Broncos' practice squad Aug. 29 as part of the NFL's International Player Pathway Program -- sidelined for about six weeks.
