The Cowboys have ruled out Durant (hamstring) for Thursday's game against the Buccaneers, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.
As expected, Durant will miss a third-straight game due to a hamstring injury he sustained against the Commanders in Week 2. His next chance to play is Week 6 against the Packers on Sunday, Oct. 18, though Durant has yet to return to practice since his injury. DaRond Bland and Joey Porter will be the Cowboys' starting outside cornerbacks for Thursday Night Football.

Durant appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Rams last season, making 15 starts, and finished with 40 tackles (30 solo) and seven pass breakups, including three interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. Durant concluded his third season as a pro with career-high marks in defensive snaps (740), tackles and passes defensed. After working primarily in the slot in his first two seasons, Durant shifted out wide for much of 2024.
