Jaxon Janke: Gets look from Houston
The Texans signed Janke to their practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Janke signed with Houston as an undrafted free agent in April before landing on IR -- and subsequently being waived with an injury settlement -- in July. He'll provide organizational wideout depth for the Texans, though the team claimed Diontae Johnson off waivers last week to soften the blow of losing Tank Dell for the season due to a knee injury.

Jaxon Janke: Works out for Washington
Janke (undisclosed) worked out for the Commanders on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Janke, who was waived with an injury settlement by Houston during the offseason, appears back to full health, though he couldn't turn his initial tryout with Washington into a practice squad opportunity. He'll continue vying for a reserve role around the league.

Janke, an undrafted rookie out of South Dakota State, will revert to injured reserve if he clears waivers. In that case, he'll be forced to sit out the entire 2024 campaign unless he can reach an injury settlement.
