Dolegala joined Green Bay during the offseason when Aaron Rodgers' situation was still murky, but he was let go after the 2020 MVP reported to training camp. However, he rejoined the Packers when Jordan Love injured his shoulder during the preseason, but he was let go again after Love was deemed healthy. Now, he joins the Dolphins' practice squad as trade rumors continue to swirl around Deshaun Watson and Tua Tagovailoa.

The Patriots claimed Dolegala off waivers from the Packers on Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Dolegala was a member of the Patriots' roster earlier this offseason before being waived in April, only for Green Bay to sign him a couple months later. After Green Bay waived Dolegala on Tuesday, the Patriots saw an opportunity to bring back the 24-year-old to provide depth at quarterback during training camp. He'll still face long odds to earn a roster spot with Cam Newton, Mac Jones and Brian Hoyer healthy to open camp, though Jarret Stidham (shoulder) is on the PUP list.
