  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Shaky finish to rookie season

Reichard finished the 2024 season making 24 of 30 field-goal attempts and all 38 of his extra-point tries across 13 games with Minnesota. A sixth-round pick out of Alabama in the 2024 NFL Draft, Reichard was a perfect 14 of 14 on field-goal tries and 23 for 23 on extra-point attempts through Week 8, but he suffered a quad injury during a Week 9 win over the Colts in which he missed both of his field-goal tries. Reichard missed the next four contests on injured reserve but wasn't the same after returning in Week 14. Reichard went 10 of 14 on field-goal attempts over the final five weeks. However, he did make his lone kick in the wild-card playoff loss to the Rams. Reichard figures to be in the mix as a top fantasy kicker next season, kicking for a team that will likely again put up plenty of points with coach Kevin O'Connell orchestrating the offense.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Vikes' only scorer Sunday

Reichard made three of his four field-goal attempts during Sunday's 31-9 loss at Detroit. Reichard was nearly perfect in the Vikings' loss in Week 18, but he missed a 51-yard try wide to the right near the end of the third quarter. It was a fitting end to the regular season for Reichard, who produced serviceably if not spectacularly in his rookie year. He finished the 2024 regular season having made 24 of his 30 field-goal attempts (80.0 percent) and having converted all 38 of his extra-point tries.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Misses field goal in win

Reichard made all six extra-point tries but missed his lone field-goal attempt in a 42-21 win over the Falcons on Sunday. Reichard missed his third field goal of the season when a 47-yard attempt on the Vikings' opening drive of the second half hit the left upright. However, the rookie kicker did remain perfect on PATs and has made all 29 extra-point tries this season.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Cleared to kick Sunday

Reichard (quadricep) is active for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Though Reichard carried a questionable tag into Sunday, the Vikings removed most of the mystery about his status by activating him from injured reserve Saturday and waiving John Parker Romo, who had handled kicking duties for each of the last four games. After he was a full participant in practice throughout the week, Reichard looks to have proven his health and will now resume what had been a banner rookie campaign before he landed on IR on Nov. 5. Through his eight appearances on the season, the sixth-round pick out of Alabama converted 14 of 16 field-goal attempts and 23 of 23 extra-point attempts.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Questionable for Week 14

Reichard (quadriceps) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Atlanta. Reichard has been sidelined for the Vikings' last four games due to a quadriceps injury. He was designated to return from IR on Wednesday, and while he's been given the questionable tag for Sunday's game, he's trending towards playing after logging full practices this week.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Practices in full

Reichard (quadricep) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. Reichard returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since being placed on injured reserve with a quadricep issue before Minnesota's Week 10 win over the Jaguars. He's missed the Vikings' last four games, but Wednesday's full session suggests he could be available as soon as the Week 14 matchup against the Falcons, if he's activated to the active roster in time. However, if Reichard remains out Sunday, John Parker Romo will likely continue to serve as Minnesota's kicker.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Making return to practice

The Vikings designated Reichard (quadricep) to return to practice Tuesday. The transaction opens up the 21-day practice window for Reichard. The kicker has already missed the minimum four games while on IR, so if the Vikings are comfortable with his recovery from a right quad strain, he could be added back to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons. John Parker Romo has filled in as the Vikings' kicker for the past four games, converting 11 of 12 field-goal attempts and seven of eight point-after attempts.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Remains perfect in Week 8 loss

Reichard made both of his field-goal attempts and both PAT tries in Thursday's 30-20 loss to the Rams. Reichard's perfect start to his NFL career continues. The rookie sixth-round draft pick out of Alabama has hit all 14 of his field-goal attempts to go with 20 makes in as many PATs tried. Reichard has hit from as far as 58 yards, but he wasn't challenged Thursday, as his longest kick was in chip-shot range at 35 yards.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Strong performance in London

Reichard made both of his extra-point tries and all three field-goal attempts in Sunday's 23-17 win over the Jets. Reichard opened the scoring with a 54-yard field goal on the Vikings' open possession. He then received two more FGA opportunities in the fourth quarter to close out the scoring, making from 53 and then from 41 yards out. The rookie kicker is now 9-for-9 on the season when attempting field goals, including 3-for-3 from 50-plus yards.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Drills five kicks in Week 4

Reichard made his lone field-goal attempt and all four of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 31-29 win over the Packers. The 2024 sixth-round pick remains perfect through the first four games of his NFL career, going 6-for-6 on field-goal attempts and 14-for-14 on point-after tries. Expect Reichard to continue producing at a high level as the Vikings host the Jets in Week 5.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Keeps success going

Reichard made both of his extra-point tries and all three field goal attempts in Sunday's 23-17 win over the 49ers. Reichard stayed perfect in Week 2, aiding the Vikings to a second straight victory to start their 2024 campaign. The rookie connected from 22, 39 and 27 yards out for his first NFL field goals, after not having any FGAs in Week 1.
