    The Titans waived Pappoe on Saturday. Pappoe played in the Titans' Week 2 loss to the Eagles, logging no defensive snaps and 19 special-teams snaps in the game. The special-teamer was waived to make room on the 53-man roster for depth safety Erick Hallett from the practice squad. Pappoe will now be subject to waivers, and if he clears will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise.

  • Cardinals' Owen Pappoe: Won't play vs. Bolts

    Pappoe (hip) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game against the Chargers. Pappoe was a DNP for all three practices this week due to a hip injury. His next chance at suiting up will be Week 8 against the Dolphins on Oct. 27. Pappoe has primarily served on special teams this year and has registered 13 tackles (nine solo) through the first six games of the regular season.
