Harris (hamstring) tried out for the Bears on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

  • Hayden Harris: Reaches injury settlement

Harris (hamstring) was waived from the Bills' injured reserve list with an injury settlement Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Harris was set to miss the entire 2025 season after landing on injured reserve, but the injury settlement allows him to join a team once he's fully recovered from his hamstring injury. He signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent in early May, and once he's healthy, he'll look to join a team in need of depth at defensive end.

  • Bills' Hayden Harris: Reverts to IR

Harris (hamstring) reverted to Buffalo's injured reserve list Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Harris was waived by the Bills with an injury designation Thursday, and after clearing waivers, he's going to their injured reserve list. Unless he reaches an injury settlement with Buffalo, he'll have to wait at least one more year to make his NFL debut.

  • Hayden Harris: Waived/injured by Buffalo

Harris (hamstring) was waived/injured by the Bills on Thursday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

The defensive end will revert to Buffalo's injured-reserve list unless another team claims him. If he lands on IR, Harris will need to reach an injury settlement with the Bills to have a chance to play in 2025. Last season at Montana, Harris finished with 17 total tackles for loss, including 9.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two pass breakups.
