White (knee) and the Bears agreed on a contract Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
White sat out the entire 2022 season on the Bears' injured reserve while recovering from a torn ACL, and he spent the entire 2023 campaign as a free agent. The linebacker will look to prove his health with Chicago at training camp in an attempt to appear in his first NFL regular-season contest since playing in two games with the Raiders and Jets in 2021.

White suffered a torn ACL while playing on kickoff coverage during Chicago's preseason opener Saturday. The 25-year-old will now presumably revert to the Bears' IR upon clearing waivers.

White (knee) has been ruled out of Saturday's preseason contest against the Rams, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
White was waived by the Raiders last year and ended up on their practice squad for the remainder of the season. The undrafted free agent is competing with 2016 first-round pick Darron Lee and 2021 third-round pick Divine Deablo for backup reps behind Cory Littleton.
