Lang went undrafted out of Northwestern in 2025, catching 11 passes for 115 yards and one touchdown during his final collegiate season. After inking a new deal with New England, he'll get a chance to compete for a spot on the active roster in camp.

If Hunter Henry, Austin Hooper or CJ Dippre were to go down, Lang would be a candidate for elevation to the active roster for Week 18 or a playoff game.
