The Ravens placed Tampa on injured reserve on Oct. 25, but the fourth-round pick is now ready to return to the gridiron. His involvement in practice Thursday suggests he might have a shot to play Sunday against the Eagles, but he's buried on the depth chart, and therefore not likely to see many snaps even if active.

Tampa (hernia) was removed from the Ravens' active/PUP list Monday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Ravens head coach Jim Harbaugh said Sunday that he didn't expect Tampa to practice this week, but the rookie corner was able to exceed that expectation and participated in individual drills Monday, per Ryan Mink of the team's official site. Tampa had double hernia surgery in July and had been sidelined since the start of training camp. He'll now have multiple weeks to show off his skill set as he works toward what is likely to be a depth role in the Ravens' secondary.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Sunday that Tampa (groin) is "getting close" to a return.
Tampa went on the active/PUP list in mid-July after undergoing surgery for a hernia. The 22-year-old will look to return in time to get on the practice field with his teammates before the end of camp, though Harbaugh indicated that Tampa probably won't return this week.
