Bell (hamstring) cleared waivers and reverted to injured reserve, according to the league's official transaction log.
Bell hurt his hamstring early on in training camp, but the severity of the injury remains unclear. The wideout will remain on IR all year unless he agrees to an injury settlement.
The Broncos waived/injured Bell (hamstring) on Friday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports.
After spending the 2017 season on the Ravens' practice squad, Bell received a contract from the Broncos in January to make another run at a 53-man roster spot. A hamstring injury in late July prevented him from participating in training camp early, likely playing a part in the team's decision to hand him his walking papers.
Bell is nursing a minor hamstring injury, Zac Stevens of BSNDenver.com reports.
Bell's hamstring issue does not appear to be all that serious. The Nebraska product was spotted doing some individual work on the sidelines during Saturday's practice. Denver plans to allow Bell to reach 100 percent before returning to the field meaning he could sidelined for a couple more days while rehabbing.
