Hester will join the Panthers' practice squad and will fill a depth role for the team's defensive line. The Panthers made space for Hester by waiving offensive guard Aaron Monteiro from their practice squad. Expect the defensive tackle to stay on the Panthers' practice squad barring any major injuries to Carolina's defensive line.
