Steelers' Mike Hilton: Nearing a return
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hilton (lower body) is expected back at practice this week and has a chance to play in Sunday's divisional tilt with the Browns, Ray Fittipaldo of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports,

Hilton seems like he's trending towards Week 1 availability which would give the Steelers added depth at the two corner spots. It's unlikely he'll see much action, if any, on the defensive side of the ball, but Hilton should be of service on special teams.

Steelers' Mike Hilton: Signs one-year extension
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hilton signed a one-year contract extension with the Steelers on Tuesday, the Steelers' official site reports.

Hilton played in all 16 regular season games for the Steelers this season, logging four starts. He recorded 64 tackles (48 solo), six passes defensed, four sacks, two interceptions and one forced fumble on the year. Hilton sits behind Joe Haden and Artie Burns on the depth chart, but only 23, the young cornerback could potentially fly up the ranks in his second season with Pittsburgh.

Steelers' Mike Hilton: Five tackles in season finale
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hilton, who recorded five tackles (four solo) in Sunday's win over the Browns, finishes up the 2017 season with 64 tackles (48 solo), including four sacks playing in all 16 games.

Hilton had a solid rookie campaign, highlighted by his three-sack game against Houston on Christmas Day. An exclusive-rights free agent, his price tag suggests he will return in 2018.

Steelers' Mike Hilton: Monster game keeps home-field hopes alive
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hilton collected six tackles (all solo) -- including three sacks -- in Monday's 34-6 win at Houston.

The rookie had his best game of the season, leading a swarming defense that recorded seven sacks. With the possibility of home-field advantage in the playoffs, Pittsburgh will look to help Cleveland, who they defeated 21-18 in Week 1, complete their winless season. A Pittsburgh win combined with a New England loss would give the Steelers, currently the No. 2 seed in the AFC, home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Steelers' Mike Hilton: Continues defensive contributions
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hilton totaled six tackles (four solo) and an interception in Thursday's 40-17 win over the Titans.

The first-year cornerback now has two interceptions this season, second only on the team to Ryan Shazier (three). He's also compiled 41 tackles, including a sack. His performance, combined with injuries to Joe Haden (leg) and Mike Mitchell (ankle), may give Hilton an opportunity for even more playing time the rest of the season.
