Hilton (elbow) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Hilton did not suit up during Pittsburgh's Week 4 loss to Baltimore, but he now appears fully recovered from a hyperextended elbow. The cornerback seems to be trending towards playing against the Falcons on Sunday.
Hilton (elbow) is expected to practice this week, Dale Lolley of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Hilton was inactive Sunday against the Ravens after hyperextending his elbow in Week 3. Though he's expected to practice this week, his status for Sunday's matchup with the Falcons remains up in the air.
Hilton was sidelined during Friday's practice, so the backup cornerback's lack of availability is no surprise. The 24-year-old's injury should not require an extensive recovery, and Hilton will attempt to suit up for the Steelers in Week 5.
Hilton, who hyperextended his elbow in last Monday's game against Tampa Bay, missed practice Friday and is unlikely to suit up this weekend. His absence will open up snaps for both Cameron Sutton and Coty Sensabaugh.
Hilton's elbow injury is a hyperextension, Joe Rutter of the Trib Live reports.
Hilton's injury was initially feared to be much more significant than a hyperextension, which could theoretically allow him to suit up for Sunday's game against the Ravens. The starting slot cornerback was additionally spotted without a sling while watching Thursday's practice. Hilton's Week 4 status remains questionable, and if he's sidelined for any amount of time, Cameron Sutton would replace him in the starting lineup.
