Potential Landing Spots Ahead Of NFL Trade Deadline

Fantasy News

  • Daeshon Hall: Cut by San Francisco

Hall was let go by the 49ers on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Hall spent time with the Eagles, Jets and 49ers' practice squads last season. The 26-year-old had trouble sticking around as he dealt with a knee injury that caused him to fail a physical with New York, and it appears the injury remains an issue as San Francisco released the Texas A&M product with an injury waiver. In 2019, the last time he saw NFL action, the 2017 third-round pick appeared in nine games, registering six tackles and one sack.

  • Daeshon Hall: Waived off PUP list

The Eagles waived Hall (knee) of the PUP list Friday, per the NFL's official transaction log. Hall suffered a torn ACL last December, and after spending the first six weeks of the year on the PUP list, he was let go by the Eagles. The oft-injured defensive end will be eligible to sign with another team once he passes a physical.

  • Eagles' Daeshon Hall: Reverts to PUP list

Hall (knee) reverted to Philadelphia's reserve/PUP list on Monday after going unclaimed on waivers, Daniel Gallen of The Harrisburg Patriot-News reports. Hall won't count against the Eagles roster this season as long as he remains on the reserve/PUP list. He's still rehabbing from a torn ACL sustained on the final play of the 2019 regular season.

  • Daeshon Hall: Time up in Philly

Hall (knee) was waived by the Eagles on Sunday. Hall is recovering from an ACL tear he suffered during the final play of the 2019 regular season, so the Eagles likely would have had to place him on the PUP list had the team kept him in house. Instead, Hall will now get a chance to look for a depth role with another organization while focusing on his recovery.

  • Eagles' Daeshon Hall: Shifts to IR, as expected

Hall (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday. Hall suffered a torn ACL on the final play of the regular-season finale. His shift to IR opens up a roster spot for the Eagles to sign another running back heading into the playoffs. It's unclear if Hall will be ready for the 2020 season.

  • Daeshon Hall: Parts ways with Houston

Hall was waived by the Texans on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports. Hall signed with the Texans in late September from the 49ers' practice squad but was not active for any games. Safety Andre Hal (illness) was activated from the Non-Football Illness list in a corresponding move.

  • Panthers' Daeshon Hall: Out Week 4

Hall (knee) was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Patriots, David Newton of ESPN reports. Hall didn't practice this week due to a sore knee. He'll look to get back on the practice field next week in hopes of playing in Week 5 against the Lions.

  • Panthers' Daeshon Hall: Will play Sunday despite knee injury

Hall (knee) will play in Sunday's contest against the 49ers. Hall likely will function as a depth defensive end but could be used as a special teams asset.

  • Panthers' Daeshon Hall: Questionable for Sunday

Hall (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers. Hall isn't likely to play much even if he's healthy. The Panthers are struggling with injuries on their defensive front, though, so Hall may be slated to sneak in a few extra snaps if he can go.

  • Panthers' Daeshon Hall: Picked by Panthers

The Panthers selected Hall in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, 77th overall. Hall was overshadowed by No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett, but Garrett wasn't the only standout end for A&M. At 6-foot-5, 266 pounds with 35 and 5/8-inch arms, Hall has a huge reach as well as very good athleticism, boasting a 4.76-second 40, 123-inch broad jump, and 7.03-second three-cone drill. He could start early on in his Carolina career.
