Lovato has signed a four-year extension with the Eagles.
Lovato is in his fourth season as the Eagles' long snapper and has been rewarded for his work over that time. There has been no word yet on the dollar amount.
Lovato signed a one-year contract with the Eagles on Friday, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
The long snapper joined the Eagles in 2016 after starter Jon Dernbos suffered a broken wrist. However, Lovato wound up winning the job outright, which eventually led to Dernbos being traded to begin the 2017 season. The one-year contract is expected to be near the veteran minimum.
Lovato (concussion) was listed as a full participant Thursday.
The Eagles' injury report was simply an estimation Thursday, but Lovato's inclusion as a full participant is a good sign for his Week 12 availability if he's able to clear the league's concussion protocol in time.
Lovato exited Sunday's game against the Saints and is being evaluated for a head injury.

Lovato has big shoes to fill, as he takes over for the Eagles' longest-tenured player. An injury to the veteran long snapper in the latter portion of the 2016 season opened up the opportunity for Lovato, an undrafted free agent in 2015. The Old Dominion product was working for his father's sub shop when he got the call to work out for the Eagles. He will now look to make his fourth NFL stop stick.

Lovato joins Philadelphia after fellow long snapper Jon Dorenbos broke his wrist during Sunday's loss to the Redskins. As a result, he should immediately play a special teams role in Sunday's game against the Ravens.
