Jaguars' CJ Henderson: Close to 100 percent
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson is close to fully recovered from his groin injury, according to coach Urban Meyer, Mia O'Brien of First Coast News reports.

Henderson only played in eight game during his rookie season, but still registered the second most snaps at cornerback for the Jaguars. The 2020 ninth-overall pick will be a key piece for the team's defense this coming season if he can stay on the field.

Jaguars' CJ Henderson: Likely done for the year
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Coach Doug Marrone said Friday that he expects Henderson (groin) to miss the final three games of the season, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Henderson hasn't played since Week 10 due to a lingering groin injury, and it doesn't look like the Jaguars intend to tag him for a return from IR this season. The rookie first-round pick had 36 tackles (27 solo), six defended passes, one interception and one forced fumble across eight games.

Jaguars' CJ Henderson: Placed on injured reserve
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Jaguars moved Henderson (groin) to IR on Thursday.

Henderson will now be required to miss a minimum of three games due to his groin injury. His absence could pave the way for any of Josiah Scott, Tre Herndon, Luq Barcoo and/or Chris Claybrooks to see increased defensive opportunities.

Jaguars' CJ Henderson: Ready to face Lions
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson (shoulder) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Lions, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.

Henderson wasn't able to face the Texans last week due to a shoulder injury, but he's resumed practicing in full ahead of Sunday's matchup against Detroit. The rookie first-round pick looks set to resume handling his usual starting role at cornerback.

Henderson (shoulder) was a full participant for Thursday's practice.

Henderson missed last week's loss to the Texans due to the shoulder injury and was limited during Wednesday's practice. Now apparently healthy, look for the rookie out of Florida to return to the starting lineup at cornerback for Week 6's matchup against the Lions.

Jaguars' CJ Henderson: Limited practice to start week
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Henderson is still bothered by the shoulder injury that he sustained two weeks ago against the Bengals. If the rookie first-rounder is unable to heal up by Sunday's game against the Lions, the Jaguars could be extremely short in the secondary, as Chris Claybrooks -- who started in Henderson's spot last week against Houston -- missed Wednesday's practice with a quadriceps injury.

Jaguars' CJ Henderson: Won't play Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson (shoulder) is officially inactive for Sunday's game at Houston, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.

Henderson finished the week as a limited practice participant and received the questionable tag, but he won't be available for Sunday's divisional matchup. Chris Claybrooks will start at cornerback in his place for the Jaguars.

Jaguars' CJ Henderson: Questionable for Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.

The 22-year-old began the week not practicing but progressed to limited participation to earn the questionable tag. Henderson sustained the injury during last week's loss to the Bengals and was limited to 12 snaps. Chris Claybrooks likely will have an increased role if Henderson is unable to suit up.

Jaguars' CJ Henderson: Starts week with missed practice
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson (shoulder) didn't practice Wednesday.

Henderson isn't practicing to start the week after being forced out of last week's loss to the Bengals in the first half due to his shoulder injury. Coach Doug Marrone said that Henderson has a chance to play Sunday in Houston, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports, but the cornerback will likely need to raise his practice participation in the coming days to have a realistic chance of suiting up.

by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson (head) returned to action in Week 1 against the Colts, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.

Henderson was evaluated for a concussion earlier in the game, but apparently he passed protocol to return to the field. He played a key role in the team's upset win against the Colts, picking off a Philip Rivers pass.

Henderson left the team's Week 1 matchup against the Colts to be evaluated for a concussion, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official sitereports.

Henderson made his presence felt in his first game, picking off Philip Rivers shortly before exiting the game. It's unclear if he will be able to return against the Colts.

Jaguars' CJ Henderson: Joins team Monday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson (illness) was a full participant for Monday's practice, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Henderson was away from the team while dealing with a non-COVID-19 related illness the past two days, so the fact that he's back at practice is an extremely positive sign. The first-round rookie out of Florida is expected to start right away for the Jaguars at one of the cornerback positions to begin the 2020 season.

Jaguars' CJ Henderson: Sitting out practice
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson (illness) didn't participate in Saturday's practice, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports.

This is reportedly not a COVID-19 related illness, so he shouldn't be away from the field for too long. The rookie first-round pick (ninth overall) is slated to start right away after the team traded both Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye in the last calendar year.
