Bledsoe was removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list and placed back onto the active roster Wednesday.

Bledsoe spent 10 days on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He'll provide depth on a defensive line that will be without defensive tackle Geno Atkins, who was placed on IR with a shoulder injury Wednesday.

Bledsoe was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Sunday, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports.

Bledsoe either tested positive for the virus or came into close contact with an infected person. The 22-year-old has played in every game this season, and his absence leaves just Khalid Kareem as depth behind starters Sam Hubbard and Carl Lawson.

Bledsoe should provide some depth along Cincinnati's defensive line, but he doesn't appear to be on a fast track to significant playing time just yet. With a couple of injuries, he could find himself more involved in the defensive game plan.
