Killorn signed a four-year, $25 million contract with Anaheim on Saturday, per Jim Biringer of Full Press Hockey. Killorn is cashing in after setting career highs in goals (27) and points (64) in 82 contests with Tampa Bay last season. He put up similar numbers in 2021-22 -- 25 goals and 59 points in 82 games -- but those are the only two campaigns in which he's reached the 50-point milestone. The Ducks are gambling by offering him such a big contract, especially given that Killorn will turn 34 on Sept. 14. Still, Killorn should slot in as a top-six forward for Anaheim, at least in the short term, and his 140 playoff appearances will be an asset for the rebuilding squad.... See More ... See Less

Lightning's Alex Killorn: Tallies two goals vs. Leafs
Killorn netted two goals in Tampa Bay's 5-4 overtime loss to Toronto in Game 4 on Monday. Killorn's second tally increased Tampa Bay's lead to 4-1 late in the second period, but that ended up not being enough to secure the win. Still, it was a strong game for the 33-year-old, who now has two goals and four points in four playoff appearances this year. Killorn's up to 36 markers and 40 points in 138 career postseason contests.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Alex Killorn: Tops career season with two points
Killorn scored a goal and added an assist in a 5-0 win over Detroit on Thursday. Killorn gave the Lightning a 1-0 lead in the first period with a wrist shot glove side from the left circle. It was his 27th goal of the season and his fifth game-winner. Overall, Killorn has delivered a strong 64-point season on a disproportionately high shooting percentage (18.4; 12.5 career). He should have a strong postseason, but don't expect this level of offense in future seasons. Killorn will turn 34 during training camp next season, and he's coming off the best two seasons of his career (59 and 64 points, respectively). The odds that he can repeat are thin.... See More ... Lightning's Alex Killorn: Surpasses career high in goals
Killorn tallied a goal in Tampa Bay's 4-3 loss to Toronto on Tuesday. Killorn didn't record a point over his previous two games, but he did contribute three goals and seven points over five outings from March 25-April 5. He's up to 27 goals and 63 points in 81 appearances in 2022-23. Killorn's latest marker established a new career high, surpassing his total of 26 from the 2019-20 campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Alex Killorn: Reaches 60-point threshold
Killorn scored a power-play goal and added an assist in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Rangers. Killorn got the Lightning on the board with a deflection in front, shifting the momentum 19 seconds after the Rangers raced out to a 3-0 lead. The goal extended Killorn's point streak to five games, and he added an assist on Darren Raddysh's first NHL goal early in the second. Later in the middle frame, Killorn did his part to raise the temperature in a game that saw 75 PIM handed out, as he charged in and slashed goalie Igor Shesterkin well after the whistle. That two-minute infraction put Killorn over 40 PIM for the sixth time in the past eight seasons, while the two points helped him crack 60 for the first time.... See More ... See Less -

Killorn opened the scoring 1:19 into the first period, taking a net-front feed from Anthony Cirelli before beating Connor Hellebuyck with a wrist shot. The goal is Killorn's 20th of the season, the third time in his 11-year career that he's reached that mark. The 33-year-old forward is up to 51 points through 67 games, eight shy of his career best set last season.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Alex Killorn: Explodes for three points
Killorn scored two goals and an assist on four shots, fueling the Lightning to a 5-2 victory over the Flyers on Tuesday. The first star of the game, Killorn picked up the opening goal for the Lightning on the power play off a nice pass from Nikita Kucherov. He would also extend the Lightning's lead to 4-1 in the second period with a second goal after picking up an assist on Nikita Kucherov's first power-play goal. This performance is Killorn's second multi-goal game in the last three games and gives him six points in his last four games. On the season, Killorn has 19 goals and 49 points in 64 games.... Lightning's Alex Killorn: Strikes twice in loss
Killorn scored two goals, one short-handed, in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Sabres. Both tallies came in the third period after Tampa Bay had fallen into a 5-1 hole. It's Killorn's first multi-goal game of the season but his fifth multi-point performance in the last 12 contests, a stretch in which he's racked up three goals and 12 points. The 33-year-old is now three markers short of his third career 20-goal campaign, and Killorn's four points away from reaching 50 for the second time.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Alex Killorn: Gets two points Saturday
Killorn scored a goal and registered an assist in Tampa Bay's 3-0 victory over Detroit on Saturday. Killorn's marker came at 17:47 of the third period on an empty net. He has 15 goals and 43 points in 58 games this season. Killorn was held off the scoresheet in four of his previous five contests.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Alex Killorn: Two helpers Tuesday
Killorn collected two assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Ducks. After a scoreless first period, the Lightning struck four times in the second with Killorn picking up both his helpers during the frame. The 33-year-old hasn't scored a goal in 15 straight games, but he's still having a productive February by dishing multiple helpers in three of the last six. On the season, Killorn has pocketed 14 goals and 41 points through 56 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Alex Killorn: Three apples help prevent avalanche
Killorn delivered three assists in a 5-0 win over Colorado on Thursday. One of the helpers came on the power play. Killorn is a strong secondary scorer on one of the East's best teams, but he had been held off the score sheet in four straight games prior to Thursday. Now, Killorn has 37 points (14 goals, 23 assists) in 51 games.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Alex Killorn: Nearing career pace
Killorn has eight points (two goals, six assists) in his last nine games. Killorn is very quietly on a 58-point pace, which would land close to his career mark of 59 set last season. And he's doing almost all of it at even-strength -- only three assists of his 34 points have come with the man advantage.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Alex Killorn: Dishes pair of helpers
Killorn produced two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Canucks. Killorn set up the first two goals of Steven Stamkos' hat trick, with the first tally being Stamkos' 500th career goal. The 33-year-old Killorn won't approach big numbers like that, but he's done alright lately with two goals and four helpers during a four-game point streak. The winger has 32 points, 73 shots on net, 27 hits, 22 PIM and a plus-10 rating through 43 appearances this season, playing mainly in a top-six role.... See More ... See Less -

Killorn scored a goal in Tampa Bay's 4-2 win against St. Louis on Saturday. Killorn's marker came at 18:22 of the second period to put the Lightning up 4-2. That gives him 14 goals and 29 points in 41 contests in 2022-23. Killorn's found the back of the net in each of his last two games and six of his last 10 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Alex Killorn: Not losing a step
Killorn scored a goal and added an assist in a 5-4 win over Vancouver on Thursday. At 33, Killorn continues to put up near-career point levels, and if he can maintain his current pace, he will deliver his second-straight mid-50s total. There's real fantasy value in the steady, consistent performance of veteran players.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Alex Killorn: Stays hot Tuesday
Killorn netted a goal in Tampa Bay's 4-1 victory over Chicago on Tuesday. Killorn provided the game-winner at 7:11 of the third period. He's contributed four goals over his last five contests, bringing him up to 12 markers and 26 points in 36 games in 2022-23. The 33-year-old is shooting 19.7 percent, which is up from 15.2 in 2021-22 and his career average of 12.2, so it wouldn't be surprising to see that dip as the campaign progresses.... See More ...
