  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Suffers upper-body injury

Lindholm (upper body) won't return to Thursday's game versus the Kraken. Lindholm got hurt in the second period. The severity of his injury is unknown, but it's not a good sign that the Bruins could be missing their top center. Their next game is Saturday in Vancouver.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Dishes three helpers in win

Lindholm collected three assists in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Islanders. The 29-year-old has had a rough start to his Bruins tenure, and Wednesday's outburst was a welcome sight after Lindholm has produced a meager one goal and five points over the last 20 games. He was a point-a-game player as recently as 2021-22 for the Flames, but Lindholm has yet to show many hints of that form in the first season of his seven-year, $54.25 million contract with Boston.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Gets first goal in 18 games

Lindholm scored the game's only goal in a 1-0 win over Utah on Thursday. It came on the power play in the second period. It was the first time Lindholm had found the back of the net since Oct. 12, a span of 18 games. He has just 10 points, including three goals, in 21 games this season after signing with the Bruins for seven years and $54 million over the summer. Lindholm looks more like the player he was in Vancouver (26 games; six goals, six assists) after last year's trade than when he was in Calgary (49 games; nine goals, 23 assists) in the early part of the year. Or even the player he was his previous two seasons in Calgary when he tallied 146 points, including 64 goals, in 162 games. That's bad news for the Bruins and fantasy managers, who have both expected a whole lot more.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Bags assist in win

Lindholm notched an assist and blocked three shots in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Kraken. Lindholm is starting to heat up -- he has a helper in each of the last three contests. The 29-year-old center saw a season-high 21:12 of ice time Sunday as the Bruins nursed a lead from the first period to the finish line. Lindholm hasn't been consistent on offense, but he has two goals, six helpers, 18 shots on net, 21 hits, 22 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 13 contests overall while playing in all situations.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Registers helper

Lindholm logged an assist and won 14 of 22 faceoffs in Thursday's 8-2 loss to the Hurricanes. Lindholm began his Boston career with five points over three games, but he turned cold with a seven-game point drought before finding the scoresheet Thursday. The center has six points, 17 shots on net, 21 hits, 17 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 11 appearances. His defensive work will keep him in a top-six role, but Lindholm hasn't displayed enough consistency or chemistry with the Bruins' other top forwards to be fully trusted in fantasy.

The 29-year-old Lindholm has two goals and three assists during a three-game point streak to begin the 2024-25 season. After signing a seven-year, $54.25 million contract in the summer, he has gotten off to a hot start in a top-line role with the Bruins.

Lindholm redirected a Nikita Zadorov blast for his first goal as a member of the Bruins. He has points in both games thus far. Lindholm (undisclosed) will play in Tuesday's exhibition contest versus Philadelphia, Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal reports. He produced 15 goals and 29 points across 75 regular-season appearances between Calgary and Vancouver in 2023-24. • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Won't play this week

Lindholm (undisclosed) was absent from Tuesday's practice and won't see any preseason action this week, according to Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald. Lindholm was initially supposed to skate Monday, but an undisclosed injury sustained on Day 1 of training camp has kept him off the ice. He will remain day-to-day ahead of Boston's final three exhibition contests before Opening Night versus Florida on Oct. 8. Once healthy, Lindholm will be on the top line and first power-play unit during the 2024-25 campaign.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Not practicing Friday

Lindholm was held out of practice Friday due to general soreness, Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal reports. Lindholm's spot on the top line between David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha was taken by Matthew Poitras at practice. Coach Jim Montgomery said the move to keep Lindholm off the ice was precautionary. Lindholm had only 15 goals and 29 assists in 75 regular-season games split between Calgary and Vancouver last year, but the 29-year-old has had a couple of big seasons during his 11-year NHL career, including 42 goals and 40 assists in the 2021-22 campaign.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Signs seven-year deal

Lindholm secured a seven-year, $54.25 million contract with Boston on Monday, Irfaan Gaffar of The Fourth Period reports. Lindholm managed just 15 goals in 75 regular-season contests between the Flames and Canucks in 2023-24, his lowest goal total since 2016-17 when he was with Carolina. While a first-line role probably is unlikely with the Bruins, Lindholm should be in the mix for power-play minutes. Look for the Swede to get himself back above the 20-goal mark this year and could even challenge for 30 given the talent around him, though that's a level he's reached just once in his 11-year career.

  • Canucks' Elias Lindholm: Generates helper Monday

Lindholm logged an assist, two shots on goal, five hits and two blocked shots in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Oilers in Game 7. Lindholm did his part in the second round with three goals and four assists over seven games, but it wasn't enough to extend the Canucks' season. The center produced 22 points over 39 contests between the regular season and playoffs with Vancouver following his trade from Calgary. The 29-year-old is set for unrestricted free agency and figures to be one of the biggest names on the market July 1, assuming he doesn't re-up with the Canucks before then.

Lindholm notched an assist, three shots on goal and three hits in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Oilers in Game 5. Lindholm has points in three straight contests and six points over five second-round appearances versus the Oilers. His assist Thursday was timely, as it set up J.T. Miller for the game-winning goal with 33 seconds left in the third period. Lindholm has produced nine points, 22 shots on net, 30 hits and a plus-3 rating over 11 playoff outings. He has spent much of the postseason on the third line, but he was moved up to the second line in an effort to support the slumping Elias Pettersson, who shifted to the wing.

  • Canucks' Elias Lindholm: Registers helper in loss

Lindholm provided an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Oilers in Game 4. Lindholm set up Conor Garland on the Canucks' first goal during their third-period comeback effort. The helper gives Lindholm five points over four contests in the second round. He's up to five goals, three assists, 19 shots on net, 27 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 10 outings this postseason. While he's listed on the third line, he gets enough all-situations minutes to be a de facto top-six forward.

Lindholm scored a pair of power-play goals, added three hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3. • Canucks' Elias Lindholm: Lights lamp Sunday

Lindholm scored a goal, added five hits and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Predators in Game 1. Lindholm has two goals and two assists during his four-game point streak. The center has struggled as a Canuck following his trade from the Flames, but he'll still see more all-situations ice time than his third-line role would suggest. Lindholm had 15 goals, 44 points, 173 shots on net, 87 hits, 61 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating over 75 regular-season appearances.

However, the center's overall success as a Canuck has been limited to 11 points through 25 outings for the team. He's at 43 points, 170 shots on net, 86 hits, 61 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating through 74 contests this season.

Lindholm notched an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and three blocked shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Oilers. Lindholm played for the second time after missing seven contests with a wrist injury.
