  • Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Three helpers in Wednesday's loss

Mintyukov picked up three assists and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Blue Jackets. Mintyukov assisted on three straight goals late in the second period. While that surge helped the Ducks pull even, their offense fell flat in the third. Mintyukov has four points over five games since he returned from a shoulder injury. The rookie defenseman has 23 points, 64 shots on net, 63 hits, 44 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating over 45 appearances overall. He has remained in a bottom-four role and on the second power-play unit since his return, which has capped his fantasy value.

Mintyukov was seeing first-unit power-play time before the injury, but Cam Fowler is currently in that role.

  • Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Sustains injury Tuesday

Mintyukov (undisclosed) was injured in the third period of Tuesday's game versus the Predators, Eric Stephens of The Athletic reports. It's unclear what kind of injury Mintyukov is dealing with. The Ducks' next game is Thursday against the Hurricanes. The rookie defenseman has 19 points over 40 contests this season and has filled a regular role, so his absence could be a noticeable one for the Ducks and for fantasy managers in deeper formats. Robert Hagg would likely enter the lineup if Mintyukov misses time.

Mintyukov notched a power-play assist, three shots on goal and two hits in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Avalanche. Mintyukov helped out on an Alex Killorn tally in the second period, which tied the game at 3-3. With three helpers over his last six games, Mintyukov has leveled off on offense. He's managed a goal, 12 helpers, four power-play points, 41 shots on net, 37 hits, 26 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 24 appearances.
