Kraken's Ryan Lindgren: Expected to miss 4-6 weeks
Lindgren (upper body) was placed on injured reserve by the Kraken on Thursday and is expected to miss four to six weeks.
Lindgren suffered the upper-body injury in the first period of Tuesday's clash against the Golden Knights before he ultimately was removed from the game ahead of the second stanza. Prior to going down, the 28-year-old blueliner compiled a plus-three rating, seven PIM, three shots on goal and four blocked shots across four outings to begin the 2026-27 campaign. While he is sidelined over the next four to six weeks, Josh Mahura is expected to see an increased role.

Kraken's Kaapo Kakko: Contributes two helpers
Kakko logged two assists, including one on the power play, and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
This was Kakko's second multi-point effort of the season. He started the year on the first line but has joined a young trio with Berkly Catton and Shane Wright on the third line. Putting the younger forwards together could allow the Kraken to shelter them from the toughest matchups. Kakko has a goal, three assists, three shots on net, three blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over four contests this season.

Kraken's Shane Wright: Tickles twine in loss
Wright scored a goal on four shots in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Wright has tallied in consecutive contests. He got the Kraken on the board early in the third period to prevent a shutout Tuesday. Wright is up to three points, seven shots on net, three blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over four outings this season. He's working on the third line with Berkly Catton and Kaapo Kakko, which is more of a potential scoring group than a traditional checking line. Wright and Catton have shared the faceoff duties for that trio.

Kraken's Jared McCann: Buries power-play tally
McCann scored a power-play goal on seven shots in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
McCann scored in the third period, but it was too late to make a difference. The 30-year-old forward has been strong to start the season, earning a goal, four assists, 15 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over four contests. McCann continues to log top-six minutes and will also contribute with the man advantage. He's one of Seattle's most reliable forwards and can help round out the depth of a fantasy roster.

Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Makes relief appearance
Grubauer stopped six of seven shots in relief of Joey Daccord in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Grubauer played the third period after a lackluster performance from Daccord and the Kraken as a whole over the first 40 minutes. Grubauer has done well in two outings this season, giving up three goals on 31 shots against playoff-caliber opponents. The 34-year-old netminder could work his way into a more even split of playing time if he continues to do well. The Kraken are heading on the road for a five-game trip, which begins in Detroit on Friday.

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Pulled after two periods
Daccord surrendered five goals on 21 shots in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Daccord played the first two periods, but he struggled, as did the team in front of him. Philipp Grubauer worked the final frame, allowing one goal on seven shots. Daccord looked good in his first two starts of the year against the Flames, but a tougher opponent gave him some adversity. With seven goals allowed on 79 shots, Daccord is still doing well and should be able to maintain at least a tandem share of the starts. The Kraken are set to begin a five-game road trip in Detroit on Friday.

Kraken's Ryan Lindgren: Leaves early Tuesday
Lindgren (upper body) was hurt in Tuesday's game versus the Golden Knights.
Lindgren was injured in the first period but initially stayed on the bench. His issue apparently worsened during the first intermission, leading to him being ruled out for the rest of the contest. If Lindgren isn't available for the start of a five-game road trip that begins Friday in Detroit, Josh Mahura or Ville Ottavainen would get the opportunity to replace him in the lineup.

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Tending twine versus Vegas
Daccord will guard the home goal against the Golden Knights on Tuesday, Jayd Serdy of the Kraken's official site reports.
Daccord is set to start for the third time in four games this season. He's won both of his previous outings, stopping 56 of 58 shots in two games against the Flames. The Golden Knights will present more of a challenge as one of the top teams in the Pacific Division.

Kraken's Brandon Montour: Provides pair of assists
Montour notched two assists, three shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Flames.
Montour was quiet on offense over the first two games of the campaign before breaking out in this one. He's made up for it with non-scoring production, collecting five hits, six blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-2 rating. Montour should see steady top-four usage and power-play time throughout the campaign. He was held to 32 points in 64 outings last year but should push for the 40-point mark if he can stay healthy.

Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Registers two helpers
Stephenson notched two assists and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Flames.
Stephenson has gotten on the scoresheet in all three games so far, amassing one goal, three helpers, four shots on net and a plus-2 rating. The 32-year-old center is in his usual second-line spot as well as working on both sides of special teams. Stephenson has some upside as a playmaker with 50-point potential, but he won't add much else for fantasy managers.

Kraken's Shane Wright: Lights lamp Sunday
Wright scored a goal and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Flames.
Wright scored on a spin move in the second period to stretch the Kraken's lead to 4-0, breaking a stretch of pressure from the Flames. The 22-year-old Wright has two points, three shots on net, two blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over three contests this season. He requested a trade in the offseason but has since turned his focus to making things work with the Kraken, at least for this year. Wright is on the third line to begin the campaign.

Kraken's Bobby McMann: Scores again in Sunday's win
McMann scored a goal on six shots, added four hits and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Flames.
McMann has scored in back-to-back games. He's also compiled 12 shots, seven hits, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over three contests this season. McMann is getting steady playing time on the second line while also featuring on the power play. If his offense holds up in that role, he provides enough all-around production to help in most fantasy formats.

Kraken's Jordan Eberle: Pots insurance tally
Eberle scored a goal on two shots, added two hits, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Flames.
Eberle enjoys playing against the Flames -- he has 21 goals and 24 helpers over 55 contests against Calgary in his career. That trend has continued in 2026-27 -- both of his goals this season have been at the Flames' expense. The winger has a total of three points, seven shots, three hits and three blocks over three outings. Eberle should continue to see steady top-six usage and power-play time.

Kraken's Berkly Catton: One of each in win
Catton scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Flames.
Catton broke through in the third game of the campaign after being held to two shots on net over the first two contests. The forward worked to the net to score the opening goal at 2:22 of the first period and set up a Shane Wright tally in the second. Catton is still learning the ropes in the NHL at 20 years old, and his usage will probably remain sheltered in a bottom-six role for now, though he does have a power-play role. He produced 17 points in 66 games as a rookie last year, though his first goal didn't come until he scored twice versus the Bruins on Jan. 6.

Kraken's Mackie Samoskevich: Scores twice in win
Samoskevich scored two goals on three shots and added two PIM in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Flames.
Samoskevich earned his first career multi-goal game with this effort. While he was still listed on the fourth line, he saw 18:49 of ice time Sunday, leading all Seattle forwards while frequently seeing usage with Matty Beniers and Jared McCann. Samoskevich could officially move to the top six soon based on that usage, which gives him some added fantasy appeal if he builds on this outing. He's also logged four hits over two contests after recovering from an upper-body injury.

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Cruises to win again
Daccord stopped 32 of 33 shots in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Flames.
The Kraken capitalized on early chances to build up a lead, and Daccord mostly held the fort the rest of the way. He was denied a shutout when Morgan Frost scored on the power play late in the third period. Daccord has stopped 56 of 58 shots in his two games, both against the Flames, to open the season. The real test will come against tougher competition, but Daccord's confidence should be running high right now. The Kraken will host the Golden Knights on Tuesday before embarking on a five-game road trip in the Eastern Conference.
