Two plus two tells us the soccer team Usain Bolt is probably going to sign with
No, it's not Manchester United, it's a team in South Africa
Usain Bolt has toyed with the idea of playing professional soccer, trying out for Borussia Dortmund and floating the idea of playing for his favorite club, Manchester United.
And now it looks like he's officially signed with a team. Bolt posted on Twitter this weekend that he has signed for a soccer team and we can find out who on Tuesday. Take a look:

But who could it be?
Well, simple logic tells us it is likely to be the South African club Mamelodi Sundowns. Now, you probably know as much about the club as I do. But upon doing some research, the team plays in the South Africa's top flight, finished second last year and is currently in first place in the league above the Orlando Pirates. The Sundowns play in Pretoria in one of the sites of the 2010 World Cup, and they have been arguably the top club over the last four seasons with two league titles.
They also tweeted this:

Now, this isn't exactly as exciting as seeing Bolt sign for a club in a major European league, but that, of course, would just be crazy. He's an Olympic legend, obviously known for his unmatched speed, but there's really nothing to make us think he has the technical ability to contribute much at all. If this indeed more than just a surface level publicity stunt and he finds the field, expect him to play down the wings and bring plenty of attention to the club.
At 31, Bolt is obviously joining the game late, and it's a bit surprising he is getting a shot. But playing in the South African league sounds about right, because any more than that may be biting off more than he can chew.
Oh, and Mamelodi is also sponsored by Puma, which sponsors Bolt. Geez, I wonder if that had anything to do with it.
