  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Starting Tuesday

Robinson (knee) is in the starting lineup Tuesday against Detroit, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.

There was some concern that Robinson wouldn't be available for this matchup, as the guard was priorly deemed questionable. Nonetheless, the Michigan product will play through a lingering right knee bruise and make his 18th start of the season. Robinson is currently posting 10.6 points and 4.0 rebounds across 28.9 minutes per contest.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Questionable for Tuesday's contest

Robinson (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's contest against Detroit, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Robinson was forced to leave Saturday's loss to the Wizards early after suffering a right knee contusion. The good news is that the 6-foot-7 sharpshooter was able to return to practice Monday, but he is still questionable for Tuesday. Even if he does miss the matchup with the Pistons, the injury isn't expected to be long term.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Done for game with bruised knee

Robinson suffered a right knee contusion during Saturday's game against the Wizards and will not return.

Robinson scored seven points in 20 minutes prior to exiting in the third quarter. The initial diagnosis of a contusion doesn't sound like one which should sideline Robinson for an extended period, but it's still possible he misses some time.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Heads to locker room

Robinson went to the locker room during the third quarter of Saturday's game against the Wizards, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Robinson should be considered questionable to return.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Solid in decisive win

Robinson totaled 21 points (8-15 FG, 5-12 3Pt), three rebounds, an assist and a steal across 32 minutes in Monday's 103-90 win over the Thunder.

Robinson drilled five shots from long-range in the win. The sharpshooter makes draining threes his specialty, but he only ranks ninth in the league with an average of 3.1 three-pointers per game, That total is a bit below his career average and his 33.3 percent conversion rate from beyond the arc is likely to blame.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Multiple season highs in win

Robinson recorded 22 points (8-14 FG, 6-11 3Pt), four rebounds, four assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Saturday's 111-105 victory over the Jazz.

Robinson's scoring average is on pace to decline for a second straight season, but he bumped it up with his performance Saturday. He set season highs with six three-pointers and four assists. Even when he's not making his triples, he's providing value to the Heat as a distracting floor-spacer.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Turns in 13 points

Robinson posted 13 points (4-8 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot across 27 minutes in Monday's 113-96 loss to the Nuggets.

Robinson logged his usual fare in the loss with four three-pointers. The long-range specialist is putting up a lot of volume from beyond the arc but is only converting threes at a rate of 34.1 percent.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Drains five triples in loss

Robinson totaled 16 points (5-17 FG, 5-17 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and four rebounds in 36 minutes during Thursday's 95-78 loss to the Celtics.

Robinson hit a season-high five triples as the Heat were embarrassed in Thursday's home loss. While the perimeter scoring is nice, it did take him 17 attempts to get there. His efficiency has been down so far this season, and his inability to contribute elsewhere does severely limit his upside. He is fine to have on the back end of a 12-team roster, but there is certainly no requirement to be holding him in every single league.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Struggles from three continue

Robinson finished Friday's win over Charlotte with 10 points (4-14 FG, 2-11 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal.

While Robinson has multiple made threes in all five games thus far, he's shooting well below his usual level of efficiency. After going 4-of-15 in his previous two games, Robinson has hit just six of his last 26 attempts. On the season, he's 12-of-43 (27.9% 3Pt) from downtown. The Michigan product finished last season at 40.8 percent (8.5 3PA/G) after draining 44.6 percent of his looks in 2019-20, so history suggests he'll start to heat up soon.
